Our Meiklebob Pedigree Hereford Herd has been founded in selecting quality stock with breeding lines from some of the most renowned breeders in the society, and also selecting Genetics from America and Canada.

Qualities of our Hereford Cattle

• All cattle are naturally reared, and fed on our own grown cereals.
• Although we are not certified Organic our animals are not given any unnecessary anti-biotics or other medicines, we prefer to try and take the route that prevention is better than cure.
• We are members of the Premium Cattle Health Scheme
• All cattle selected for the quiet temperament, good milking ability, and ease of fleshing.
• All our animals are breedplan recorded

Stock Bulls

Meiklebob 1 Beyond 094

    A Superb bull, that is easy calving, prodgeny, have great confirmation, and style, and great    growth rates. Beyond 094, has had show successes at Royal Highland Show, Great Yorkshire Show and the Royal Show.   His sister, and full genetic embryo,Meiklebob 1 Fortune 093  was the Scottish Junior Female Champion in 2008, and was Junior Champion at the Royal Highland Show, in her first year of being shown as a heifer.

Sire - HF 4L Beyond 36N

   One of the most noted and best performing bulls in Canada, he has acclaimed outstanding results in the Agribition shows in Canada,  winning the Junior Bull championship, and going on to win the overall Bull Championship over any other breed.

Dam - Miss 60F Fortune

 A very strong cow, with excellent mothering ability and milkiness, and an outstanding confirmation.

A homebred bull who was the son of one of our best performing cows.  Alex has been proven to leave calves with a great shape, and is very easy calving, so we have used him on heifers.
