Our Meiklebob Pedigree Hereford Herd has been founded in selecting quality stock with breeding lines from some of the renowned breeders in the society.

• All cattle are reared on a natural diet
• Although we are not certified Organic our animals are not given any unnecessary anti-biotics or other medicines, we prefer to try and take the route that prevention is better than cure.
• We are members of the Premium Cattle Health Scheme
• All cattle selected for the quiet temperament, good milking ability, and ease of fleshing.
• All our animals are breedplan recorded
• We are members of Scottish Quality Beef and Lamb

Hereford Embryo Calves

March saw the arrival of our Hereford Embryo Calves, again using the very top of Canadian breeding the Sire HF 4L Beyond 36N, has had outstanding results at the Agribition shows in Canada, winning the Junior bull championship, and going on to win the overall bull championship, over any breed. The Dam was Miss 60F Fortune, again a very strong animal, with excellent confirmation and mothering abilities. These calves are the first animals, with these genetics into the UK, and so are rather special to us.
